Why should you join the Summer Writing Challenge?

It feels extremely hard to sit down alone and write once summer knocks on our windows and invites us to join a myriad of fun activities. Regardless of the nice wether, work on our projects has to continue, so that we can meet our deadlines. If you find it easier to write alongside a writing accountability partner, who can help you stay on track with your goals, then I invite you to join our Summer Writing Challenge group. Once you join this group, we may write together and encourage one another, from afar.

What should you expect from the Summer Writing Challenge?

It is often said that: There is strength in numbers. Equipped with this mentality, the writing accountability partners will join bi-weekly calls, in order to:

  1. Check in with one another to stay on track with their own writing goals;

  2. Get motivated to continue their own writing journey by receiving positive, constructive, and encouraging words regarding their work; and

  3. Make new writing friends.

Who should join the Summer Writing Challenge? Any individual who has a writing project that is scheduled to be accomplished by the end of this summer or anyone who needs to continue with their writing over the next two months. Some examples of writing projects are: an essay, an article, a thesis, a book, a blog post, etc.

When will the Summer Writing Challenge take place?

From July 1st to September 1st, 2022.

Where will the writing accountability partners meet?

In order to allow people from many locations to join the Summer Writing Challenge group, our conversations will take place online. Once you become a part of the writing group, you will receive an email with details on how to join our calls.

How can you join the Summer Writing Challenge?

Please send an email (at: info@persuasivediscourse.com), by July 1st, to tell us about yourself!

In your email, make sure to briefly answer the following three questions:

  1. Why do you want to join our writing group?

  2. What is your summer writing challenge?

  3. By when do you need to complete your writing project?
